    Pepperjam is growing its Demand Generation Marketing team and looking for a Lead Development Rep to qualify new inbound leads from various sources. Reporting to the SVP of Marketing, you will be part of a team responsible for lead generation with a focus on generating new business while educating the market on Pepperjam’s value proposition.

     

    The Lead Development Rep is responsible for supporting both the Sales and Marketing teams, qualifying leads generated by Pepperjam’s marketing efforts and playing an integral part of the Pepperjam sales cycle. This role is crucial as it is one of the first touch points for prospects and will set the tone for the overall sales cycle.

     

    The ideal candidate is an energetic, highly productive self-starter and is excited to solve business challenges in creative and structure ways.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop a solid understanding of Pepperjam’s value proposition and translate that into written (lead nurturing emails) and verbal (outbound/inbound phone calls) communication with prospective clients
    • Gather key information about prospects prior to outreach to ensure effective conversation
    • Post event support to follow up and qualify captured leads
    • Following best practices, including, but not limited to maintaining data in Salesforce, pipeline management, KPI tracking, etc.
    • Maintain pipeline value and lead volumes to achieve monthly and quarterly goals
    • Achieving individual productivity goals tied to generating inbound leads 

    The Ideal Candidate will possess:

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to partner cross-functionally, build and manage relationships across an organization
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
    • A deep understanding of Salesforce.com
    • Ability to think on their feet and operate independently
    • A personable nature to engage prospects and extract relevant information through inquisition
    • The ability to analyze data from various sources to adapt outreach approach on a per prospect basis
    • The desire to have full comprehension of the lead flow process
    • Urgency in troubleshooting and problem solving

    Qualifications

    • 2-3 years in a lead development role
    • Bachelor’s Degree of higher preferred by not required
    • Travel Requirement: Up to 10%
