    The Sr Account Strategist is distinguished by a dedicated focus to customer satisfaction, realized through strong verbal and written communication skills. The Account Strategist will be responsible for providing superior customer support for Pepperjam’s clients, consulting on a portfolio of relationships, and assisting our partners to drive revenue growth. He/she should excel at relationship building, analyzing affiliate programs and be self-motivated. The successful candidate will be an aggressive self-starter and must possess an unbelievably strong work ethic, intelligence, sense of urgency, positive attitude, tenacity, and have a desire to put the customer first every day. The employee must have the ability to execute special assignments and tasks under only general supervision. This position provides high growth potential for candidates looking to build a career in a growing industry as well as hone in on their management skills and leadership capabilities.

    Responsibilities

    • Work with clients in understanding KPIs, goals and benchmarks for success
    • Lead weekly client calls
    • Create and deploy weekly program updates, inclusive of new opportunities, reporting and insights, publisher activations, industry updates, etc.
    • Prepare and conduct client presentations
    • Budget tracking, pacing and forecasting
    • Assist in renewals and contract negotiations
    • Provide revenue forecasts and maintain client budgets
    • Develop client strategy and tactics needed to meet client revenue, growth and ROI goals
    • Analyze all data and evaluate performance, while determining areas of opportunity and risk
    • Provide publisher opportunity identification and optimization recommendations
    • Oversee the delivery of creative assets and marketing materials
    • Enforce and maintain client’s terms and conditions
    • Collaborate with team members in developing and sourcing client opportunities
    • Own the publisher relationships and communication for client portfolio
    • Program recruitment and activation planning and execution
    • GAP analysis data mining to create new target partners per program
    • Placement negotiation and booking/analysis
    • Diversifying the publisher base

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field from an accredited college or university
    • Digital marketing experience with 3+ years of affiliate experience
    • Ability to develop and tactically deploy affiliate strategies
    • Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a team setting
    • Strong Communication Skills
    • Dedicated focus to customer satisfaction
    • Self-starter
    • Thorough understanding of the innerworkings of affiliate platforms and the industry
