    Pepperjam is scaling its sales team and looking for a Regional Sales Manager. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for communicating the value of Pepperjam with key decision-makers of prospective accounts, building productive relationships and securing new revenue for our business within the East region.  You will be responsible for closing new business out of an assigned named account list consisting of prospective advertisers that fit Pepperjam’s ideal client profile.

     

    The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building pipeline from named accounts and owning prospecting, while achieving quarterly goals. He/she will be a self-starter and will possess a passion for client success with an approach that gains trust through honesty and integrity.  A successful Regional Sales Manager will be someone that lives up to Pepperjam’s core values and contributes towards a positive team and Company culture.

    Responsibilities

    • Achieving quarterly and annual individual new business quota
    • Accurately reporting pipeline and forecasts on a weekly basis through the proper use of Salesforce
    • Maintaining a pipeline value that supports quarterly goals
    • Building and delivering thoughtful quarterly business plans
    • Deliver and craft first class presentations tailored to prospects’ needs

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in an Enterprise level sales role selling to retail marketing executives
    • Education Required: minimum bachelor’s degree
    • Previous experience in retail MarTech and/or startup environment a plus
    • Travel Requirement: Up to 30%

    Ideal Candidate will possess:

    • Has consistently achieved/exceeded quota
    • Strong internal and external communication skills
    • A passion for learning and hungry for career growth
    • High EQ, sales IQ, and business acumen
    • Documented success closing deals with enterprise level accounts
    • A strong understanding of multi-channel marketing, including (but not limited to) Paid Search, Paid Social, and Affiliate
    • Well-connected in MarTech and extremely comfortable holding thought leadership conversations with retail marketing executives in the e-Commerce industry
    • Has been highly effective working remotely
