    Pepperjam is growing its Sales team and is looking for a Regional VP of Sales. The Regional VP of Sales is responsible for delivering against a new business quota in the Midwest region for Pepperjam as well as leading a team of Regional Sales Managers and Directors. He/She will be responsible for communicating the value of Pepperjam with key decision-makers of named prospective accounts, building productive relationships and securing new revenue for our business.

     

    The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of coaching and mentoring, creating positive working environments and over achieving against team and individual goals. He/she will be a self-starter, highly organized, and experienced in managing complex sales cycles at senior levels. A passion for client success and gaining trust through honesty and integrity are essential for success in this role.

    Responsibilities

    • Achieving quarterly and annual individual and team new business quotas
    • Accurately reporting team/individual pipeline and forecasts on a weekly basis through proper use of Salesforce
    • Maintaining a pipeline value that supports the individual and team quota
    • Building and delivering thoughtful quarterly business plans for their region
    • Hiring and developing a team of successful sellers
    • Deliver and craft first class presentations tailored to prospects’ needs

    Qualifications

    • 10+ years total Sales experience, 3-5 years in an Enterprise Sales role
    • 3+ years people management experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred but not required
    • Previous experience in retail MarTech and/or a startup environment a plus
    • Travel Requirement: Up to 30%

     

    Ideal Candidate will possess:

     

    • The ability to lead from the front while coaching and assisting their team through complex sales cycles at Senior Executive and Director levels
    • A bias for action approach and an appetite for constant improvement in process
    • Strong internal and external communication skills with the ability to adjust to change
    • A passion for learning and hungry for career growth
    • High EQ, sales IQ, and business acumen
    • Documented success closing deals with enterprise level accounts
    • Previous experience in leading end to end RFP processes
    • A strong understanding of multi-channel retail marketing, including (but not limited to) Paid Search, Paid Social, and Affiliate
