Overview

Join the eBay Partner Network (EPN) team as part of the Pepperjam family.  This forward-thinking team works with thousands of websites globally to drive consideration of eBay and traffic to eBay every day, making it one of eBay’s most impactful marketing channels.

The EPN Partner Success team’s job is to ensure the success of new (and/or revitalized) managed and strategic partnerships.  We do this by collaborating with other EPN groups, particularly Business Development, ensuring a seamless hand off, and providing the technical, legal, and other support that new partners need to successfully ramp up and become successful EPN partners.

The EPN Partner Success team is seeking a skilled Technical Integration and Growth Specialist to support the Partner Success activity by leading the support of partner technical integration process.  EPN is growing its pipeline and has an ambitious goal to launch a large number of new, strategic partnerships in 2018.  Simultaneously, EPN provides a variety of information sharing and digital marketing tools and services that partners can use to promote eBay.  We are seeking a knowledgeable specialist who can become the go-to subject matter expert.  This will allow them to teach and communicate with partner audiences (and internal Account Managers) to ensure that they launch easily, ramp up quickly, and maximize their potential with EPN.  This role is employed by Pepperjam and reports to the Director of EPN Services.  This role also has a direct reporting line at EPN for assignment of goals and responsibilities, the Head of Partner Success (with strong dotted line support of the BD and Account Management teams).

  • Prepare detailed, in-person technical training modules and administer training for new managed and strategic partners
  • Serve as leading SME for all tools and services available to affiliate partners, particularly on APIs and Feeds

  • Closely cooperate with EPN BD and Account Management team to ensure seamless handoffs, happy partners, and that your work is supporting the EPN Partner Success and BD goals
  • Keep our partners’ best interests in mind, acting as their internal advocate and trusted advisor to ensure they are set up for success.
  • Provide thought leadership on API and tool improvement. Identify opportunities where improvement to our tools, Feeds, APIs, or other technical development can unblock partner growth.
  • Serve as Voice of the Customer and point-of-escalation for technical problems raised by partners and escalate these issues to EPN’s Product and Development teams. Connect and identify the right resources for issue resolution and escalation management.  Prioritize and drive resolution on escalated issues.

Qualifications

  • BS in technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline), but may be substituted with significant relevant experience and proven ability
  • 3+ years relevant working experience (in particular account management, consulting, or technical support)
  • Proven track record in technical problem solving
  • Demonstrated prowess in learning new tools and technologies.  Experience using or supporting APIs and Feeds
  • A passion for championing good partner experiences
