Pepperjam is seeking top tier Product Owner to help build the next generation of Performance Marketing Software.

The Product Owner role is multi-dimensional and interacts with every part of the organization. Core responsibilities include managing respective product and feature backlogs, interacting with internal stakeholders to gather feedback, envisioning new strategic features across the product portfolio, all while delivering beautiful, usable, software.

Pepperjam’s ideal product owner is ambitious, emotionally aware, strategically minded from both a product and business sense, and likes delivering aspirational products.  Pepperjam product owners have various backgrounds, but typically have experience working at a startup, as a product manager or engineer, along with time spent in sales, marketing or business development. The ideal individual will be ecstatic about working with both users and internal stakeholders to figure out the best solution to multifaceted pain points.


  • Work with Engineering, Strategy, Sales, Marketing, Product and product users to understand pain points and potential solutions
  • Develop business cases and risk/reward assessments for upcoming features and products
  • Manage the development of products from conception to delivery and ultimately bug fixes and maintenance
  • Communicate product decisions effectively throughout the Pepperjam organization
  • Create and maintain respective product backlogs of features and their requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree Or Equivalent Combination of Education & Industry Experience
  • Minimum Requirements 2 years of relevant work experience, with at least one year in a product management capacity
  • Individuals with both technical and non-technical backgrounds encouraged to apply
  • Outstanding ability to communicate with large numbers of internal and external stakeholders
  • Graduate Degree (MS, MBA) a plus but not a requirement
  • Strong interest in growing their product management acumen
  • Awareness of and interest in the Affiliate Marketing Space
  • Desire to build well designed products that delight users
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Strong ability to empathize and communicate in all mediums and formats in order to best elicit user and partner feedback
  • Interest in understanding why existing processes, structures and systems work the way they do – a constant desire to ask why and look for improvements
  • Desire and ability to work autonomously among a team of highly skilled product owners
