Overview

The Paid Search Associate is responsible for learning and executing all aspects of paid search from campaign management, implementation, optimization, reporting, analysis, and ultimately strategy development for the Pepperjam Performance Marketing Team and for our clients. The Paid Search Associate is responsible for the day-to-day management of paid search campaigns (PPC, pay per click) across multiple search engines including Google, Bing, and Yahoo.

 

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can manage all detailed aspects of client's day-to-day paid search campaign activities.  The candidate should have deep interest in search marketing, and a willingness to learn how to perform all the standard duties necessary to manage paid search accounts.  While previous paid search experience is a plus, it is not necessary. Strong interest in search marketing, curiosity, analytical acuity, Excel skills, and an interest in creating commerce connections is required, along with the ability to work well with others and possessing solid communication skills. This is a full-time position located in Conshohocken, PA.

 

This position may require some travel for client business or industry trainings.

Responsibilities

  • Execute paid search engine marketing tactics for one or more clients
  • Become certified within 90 days of hire in the use of Kenshoo, Adobe, Google AdWords, and Bing AdCenter
  • Become proficient with Kenshoo, Adobe, Google AdWords, Bing AdCenter and Yahoo Gemini
  • Manage Google & Bing Shopping and Comparison Shopping Engine campaigns against defined success metrics. Inclusive of monitoring the feeds and implementing strategic account plans, optimization, testing and performance analysis
  • Optimize bids, ad copy, and landing pages to drive top-line revenue and bottom-line margin
  • Monitor & adjust spend to stay within client defined budget
  • Report & analyze program performance and present to management
  • Research keywords to be included or excluded in search campaigns
  • Write and test ad copy to drive highest CTR and conversion rate
  • Run A/B split tests for landing pages, products, and ad copy
  • Work closely with vendors and media companies including Google, Yahoo, and Bing
  • Keep current in latest trends in online marketing and test new offerings/technologies where appropriate
  • Work with other online marketing programs (affiliates, display, shopping feeds. analytics) as needed
  • Assist in planning and strategy recommendations for key shopping times of year and as needed
  • Analyze data and explain performance metrics to clients during weekly/monthly meetings

  • 0-1 years of experience in a marketing or business role
