Overview

 

The Mid Market Sales Rep (Affiliate) is responsible for all direct sales, referral & reseller channel partnerships within their assigned territory and target accounts.  This person is responsible for executing a jointly agreed upon direct sales and partner business plan for direct and sell through relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate potential new commercial business opportunities
  • Consult with and propose solutions to qualified prospects and respond to requests for proposals from qualified prospects
  • Extending partner success as measured by product revenues, partner services revenue & customer experience
  • Executing long term business plan aligned to the regional sales and partner development strategy
  • Managing the alignment of sales, marketing, operations and client solutions capacity plans to ensure capability and execution
  • Alignment and extended reach into partner communities to drive effective joint execution
  • Effectively leverage partners to drive business solutions on the platform resulting in mutual business growth and outstanding customer and partner satisfaction
  • Be the partner evangelist and create visibility of the partner value proposition across the ecosystem
  • Develop and execute an effective marketing plan to generate sales opportunities

Success will be measured on:

 

  • Achievement of direct sales goals and partner influenced contribution to product & services revenue goals

Qualifications

  • Highly desirable that the individual has directly sold digital solutions into the commercial class customer segment and has previous partner business development experience
  • Proficient sales skills covering technology and products, and understanding of how these can drive the digital economy marketplace
  • A strong understanding of the competitive market for digital media, performance marketing, peer to peer social marketing and online to offline redemption in enterprise accounts
  • 3+ years of computing industry experience with previous experience in managing executive level business partnerships with large customers is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to drive business results in a highly dynamic environment with a fluid organization structure
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required, with emphasis in Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, and/or Marketing.
  • Exposure and experience in sales, and customer-facing functions, influencing key decision-makers, strategic thinking, organizational agility, strong written and oral communication skills
  • Must be able to travel and work independently. Travel is required in this position and represents a minimum of 25% and up to 75%
